Changing The Time on Talking Watches: A Guide

How to Change the Time on a Talking Watch from MTFL - Flex Band or Leather Band

If you are an owner of one of our talking watches that has a button for speaking the time at the 2 o'clock position, and are wondering about how to adjust its time, you've come to the right place. You can adjust it in just a few minutes with the steps below!

Note: You will need a paperclip or another small pointed object!

Step 1: Locate the recessed button

  1. On the edge of the watch near the 4 o’clock position, there is a small recessed button.
  2. Use the tip of a paperclip to gently press this button.
  3. The watch will begin speaking instructions to guide you through the process.

Step 2: Enter time-setting mode

  1. After the instructions begin, press the raised button at the 2 o’clock position.
  2. This tells the watch you want to begin setting the time.

Step 3: Set the hour

  1. Use the recessed button at the 4 o’clock position again.
  2. Each time you press it, the hour increases by one.
  3. Continue pressing until the correct hour is reached.
  4. When finished, press the 2 o’clock button again.

Step 4: Set the minutes

  1. Use the 4 o’clock recessed button again to increase the minutes.
  2. Each press increases the time by one minute.
  3. If you go past 59 minutes, the minutes will cycle back to the beginning.
  4. Once the correct minute is set, press the 2 o’clock button again.

Step 5: Automatic synchronization

  1. The watch will say “Please wait.”
  2. At this point, the watch hands will rotate automatically until they match the time you set.
  3. When the hands stop moving, the watch will announce the correct time aloud, confirming that the update is complete.
  4. To hear the time anytime, simply press the raised 2 o’clock button, and the watch will speak the time.
