How to Change the Time on a Talking Watch from MTFL - Flex Band or Leather Band
If you are an owner of one of our talking watches that has a button for speaking the time at the 2 o'clock position, and are wondering about how to adjust its time, you've come to the right place. You can adjust it in just a few minutes with the steps below!
Note: You will need a paperclip or another small pointed object!
Step 1: Locate the recessed button
- On the edge of the watch near the 4 o’clock position, there is a small recessed button.
- Use the tip of a paperclip to gently press this button.
- The watch will begin speaking instructions to guide you through the process.
Step 2: Enter time-setting mode
- After the instructions begin, press the raised button at the 2 o’clock position.
- This tells the watch you want to begin setting the time.
Step 3: Set the hour
- Use the recessed button at the 4 o’clock position again.
- Each time you press it, the hour increases by one.
- Continue pressing until the correct hour is reached.
- When finished, press the 2 o’clock button again.
Step 4: Set the minutes
- Use the 4 o’clock recessed button again to increase the minutes.
- Each press increases the time by one minute.
- If you go past 59 minutes, the minutes will cycle back to the beginning.
- Once the correct minute is set, press the 2 o’clock button again.
Step 5: Automatic synchronization
- The watch will say “Please wait.”
- At this point, the watch hands will rotate automatically until they match the time you set.
- When the hands stop moving, the watch will announce the correct time aloud, confirming that the update is complete.
- To hear the time anytime, simply press the raised 2 o’clock button, and the watch will speak the time.
